practiced within the De Tweede Spruit Conservancy.

Growing requirements
- Sun to semi-sun
- Good drainage
- Acidic soils with low phosphates
- Water regularly
- Good air movement with cool soils

How to plant in the garden
- Dig a hole twice the size of the container and mix the soil with acid compost
- Remove container and plant without disturbing the rootball
- Compact the soil around the plant and water well
- Mulch the area around the plant to keep the soil cool and moist

How to plant in a container
- Use a good quality potting soil (bark types)
- Fill the container with the potting soil
- Make a hole in the soil and mix a teaspoon of Fyngrow with soil in the bottom of the hole
- Remove the container and plant without disturbing the rootball
- Compact the soil around the plant and water well
- Mulch the area around the plant to keep the soil cool and moist

Do not use fertilisers with phosphates (Bonemeal, 2:3:2, Superphosphates)
Do not let the plants go dry in first year of growth – older plants can tolerate dryness for a period
